Master drummer, choreographer, director, dancer, and singer is from Dakar, Senegal. Aliou's instruments are the jembe, junjun, sabar, sorruba, bougaroubou, and tama. Aliou performs traditional pieces from the Wolof, Serrer, Djola, Bambara, Mandinko and other peoples of West Africa.
